The Ashlar Dining Club
The Ashlar Dining Club was founded in 2023 within the Province of Cheshire. Three meals are held each year where participants can enjoy good food and excellent company, all whilst supporting a local charity.

As a dining club, you can anticipate outstanding cuisine, and below are some images from past events.
Each year at the spring meal The Ashlar Dining Club chooses a charity to support that year.
Part of the cost of each meal is a charitable donation and throughout the year The Ashlar Dining Club seeks to raise funds for the nominated charity. At the festive meal, representatives from the charity dine with the club at no charge and are presented with that year’s financial donation, usually alongside other requested physical goods as donations, such as food or presents.
In 2024 The Ashlar Dining Club chose a local charity – Save The Family, which offers temporary housing and round-the-clock support to homeless and at-risk families.
Representatives from the charity were delighted to attend the festive meal and were presented with a donation of £2250, alongside a heaving table of items to make up Christmas hampers for the families that Save The Family support.
In 2025 The Ashlar Dining Club chose two charities to support. First, a local charity – Chester Aid to the Homeless who offer support, encouragement and a safety net for homeless people in crisis living in and around the city of Chester. Second, the British Liver Trust (which merged with the Children’s Liver Disease Foundation in 2024) who work to improve liver health for all and support those affected by liver disease or cancer.
